ENGLISH BREAKFAST TEA

                AN ENGLISH BREAKFAST 
                        TEA EXPERIENCE

One of the great British traditions is to indulge oneself  by having English breakfast tea with friends or family, at a glamorous hotel or at a department store.
 So when I was in London I met a dear friend at Selfridges..
The suitable location where we could meet,chat and have a full English breakfast tea..before shopping..

English breakfast tea is a black tea blend usually described as full-bodied,rich and blended to go well with milk and sugar..

Once we had selected the type of tea we liked,a three tiered cake stand was delivered to our table,so beautifully presented!!
On the bottom there was a selection of sandwiches,in the middle there were some scones that we had with butter,clotted cream and jum and on the top there was a fantastic selection of cakes!!
Sandwiches,cakes and pastries were all very delicious!!

All the staff were very polite and the service was perfect!!
Experiencing English breakfast tea was a bit  pricey,(even though my friend didn't let me pay.. thank you Sophia)..but it worth it..
If you ever have the chance,try it..

NASA

                  A SPACE ADVENTURE 
                   AT CAPE CANAVERAL

Some years ago,I had the luck to live the once in a lifetime experience by visiting NASA..
The explore tour at Kennedy Space Center lasted about 1 1/2 hours..
On the way,we saw the wild life,making several stops to capture some photos..

(Yes,there is a wild life park)

 I saw icons of spaceflight operations like the Vehicle Assembly Building,the historic Complex 39 and a lot more..that worthed the time!!

I knew the Assembly Building,but nothing compares with seeing it up close for the first time..
I had the feeling that the Space Center was like a small Disney...

It was so wonderful to learn the history of the space program and appreciate the hard work that has been done and how clever and brave all the astronauts were..

Also,I didn't miss the Atlantis museum,that houses the Space Shuttle Atlantis which is awesome!!

I watched two 3D movies that summarize the history of the missions and introduce how the idea of space shuttle was realized step by step...

At the end of the movie,the big screen dropped 

 and the real Atlantis Space Shuttle appeared infront of our eyes!!!!

It was really an amazing scene...
IMAX film was also amazing!! I felt like I was there with them..
By the way I met a true astronaut,a NASA veteran!!

I enjoyed an exclusive group presentation with a veteran astronaut which included questions from the visitors  and answers from the astronaut!!!!!!

After all,I left Kennedy Space feeling blessed !!

I highly recommend a visit as it is an out-of-this-world destination not to be missed..
Make the effort to go....it's really impressive!!

SINGAPORE

THE LITTLE RED DOT

Singapore is a very clean city-state with roots in trade and global commerce.The country is also a taxfree heaven..

I love Singapore because of its amazing contrasts:

Rich green landscapes vs skyscrapers..

Marina Bay Sands is an architectural  wonder of three hotel towers with a connecting sky park!!

Little India is one of the most historic districts of Singapore where you can find silk,colorful saris,flower-garlands,spices,even gold jewelry and other traditional Indian products..

I bought some (useless)souvenirs..

Orchard road is the most famous shopping street.

It's two kilometres long and it's flanked by iconic boutiques,shopping malls,restaurants and hotels..

As a shoppaholic,I lost my mind there!!!!

Singapore botanic gardens is an urban paradise..

An absolute must see!!

A pristine park with a wide variety of tropical plants,flowers and rare birds..

I couldn't resist taking pictures especially at the orchid garden..

I spent a whole day at the zoo which is known for the most beautiful wildlife park settings in the world where animals roam freely in open and naturalistic habitats.

Sentosa is an island resort getaway with themed attractions, award-winning spa

treatments,rainforests and white sand beaches..

But what I enjoyed most was the S.E.A. Aquarium as I had an amazing experience watching and learning about the unusual marine wild life under the water!!!!!

In my opinion Singapore is the skyline of the future...
