BREAST CANCER CAMPAIGN

                           A great event

Dukas came to Thessaloniki to support the Estee Lauder breast cancer Greek campaign on Friday 20th of October 2017 at Attica department store at Tsimiski street.

The great designer draw a pair of pink shoes especially for this event.

and signed the campaign's pink bracelet.

The bracelet consists of natural eco-leather.

At the edge of the leather chain there is a decorative gold metal-clasp where the pink ribbon is engraved!!

Its price is 10.50 euros.

Source of inspiration for 2017 was the motto of the campaign:

'Let's give an end to breast cancer'.

Sales revenue is available to the Hellenic Association of women with breast cancer: 

Alma Zois in Athens, Thessaloniki and Patra!!

NAPLES

            THE FLOWER OF PARADISE

'Vedi Napoli e poi muori!'
One can't blame the Napolitans for this phrase which expresses the beauty of the city!!

It's a historic city in the southern part of the Italian peninsula,in Campania region.
Naples offers tourists strong emotions,beautiful sceneries and delicious flavors..
I used to hear from some friends that Naples was the worst place they had been as there are rumors say it's unsafe and I decided to have my own opinion...

So I took a plane and visited Naples...

When it comes to travel, you shouldn't believe anything you hear!!
What I realised was the big difference between the north and the south of Italy!!
The city has an entirely different vibe than fashionable Milan!
There aren't lots of things to do or see in this city because there are other Italian cities to visit that offer more options, such as old churches and historic monuments..

But there are some good reasons to visit Naples:
Naples is the birthplace of the original wood-fired pizza Napolitana that makes it a heaven paradise for pizza lovers!!

Of course the cuisine of Naples has a variety of dishes with top flavors from the sea and ingredients enchanched from the sun and soil.

There is something for every taste:seafood, slow-cooked, succulent, sweet, simple, fried etc..

                                      TIP 
If you want to taste the famous pastry masterpieces like sfogliatella, pastiera or baba, you can simply walk in Spaccanapoli!!
Not to talk about the ice cream which offers a vast array of flavors to suit all tastes!!

Walking down the historic area of Naples you see narrow cobblestoned streets.. 

..and when you look up all you see are flags and flags of laundry hanging out to dry!! 

Walking along the pedestrian, the two-mile seafront promenade teeming with restaurants and attractions is an activity that many locals enjoy..

Historic buildings and many local cafes are also in historic centre!!

Naples is close to so many wonderful seaside spots that even if you don't plan on going, you'll likely pass through them...

So no trip to Naples is complete without a trip to :

                               Amalfi coast

                                     TIPS
-Naples has a reputation among Italians for being very authentically Italian
-It's surprisingly difficult to find anyone that speaks English
-Although you should keep an eye on your belongings, use street smarts and avoid hanging out at train stations, as you would in any other big city in the world..
(I never felt unsafe, day or night)
-Driving in Naples is not an easy task.There is endless traffic jam where rules are mostly ignored by the locals..
Maybe Rome is the heart of Italy but Naples is its soul..

AUTUMN ESCAPES

                     Fall in love with autumn

Traveling to Europe in autumn is the best season because of the ideal weather, the cheaper airtickets, the fewer crowds and the colours of the leaves..

                                 PARIS
Although Paris is worth visiting during the whole year, no season is as beautiful as autumn !!
1)You can experience the city as a local because it is less crowded
2)It's less expensive
3)Everything is covered in colour and the parks and gardens of Paris turn yellow, orange or red

                              BRUGGES
In Brugges you can take in the colours of autumn, while strolling around the streets!!
It's a magnificent city with scenic splendour..
1)You can find picturesque cobbled lanes and historic churches
2)It's the perfect excuse to warm up with a hot chocolate
3)Romance is in the air

                                PRAGUE
Prague, 'the golden city', with its amazing architecture looks stunning in the autumn foliage..
1)The weather is mild, so you can visit one of the city's parks and experience beautiful panoramic walks
2)Its autumn golden colors create a romantic atmosphere that warms the heart
3)Wine festivals happening in and around the city

Europe is full of numerous cities that can take your breath away, especially in autumn..
