Los Angeles is often called as the 'Creative Capital of the world' because one in every six of its residents works in a creative industry and there are more writers,filmmakers,actors,dancers and musicians living and working in Los Angeles than in any other city at any time in history!!
The city plays host to the annual Academy Awards in Hollywood neighborhood.

The Dolby theatre is a live performance auditorium in the Hollywood and Highland Centre shopping mall and entertainment complex,on Hollywood Boulevard and it's adjacent to the Grauman's Chinese Theatre.

Hollywood Walk of fame with the coral-pink monuments is a popular tourist destination as it attracts 10 million visitors a year and comprises over 2600 stars.

Walt Disney Concert Hall is a stunning piece of architecture!!

  Beverly Hills is home to many actors and celebrities with posh restaurants,grand mansions and expensive shopping areas!!

Rodeo Drive is probably the wealthiest and most famous shopping district in the world!!

Universal Studios is the best theme park for me and it's great for all ages!!

We bought a fast pass ticket with an extra cost which put us in front of the line at all rides..

It's expensive but it's worth it...
Harry Potter area and Water World are highlights!!

Downtown LA is the central bussiness district of Los Angeles,California.
The skyline has seen rapid growth due to improvements in seismic design standards,which has made certain building types highly earthquake-resistant.

Many of the new skyscrapers contain a housing or hotel component..

The scent of taquitos and sounds of mariachi music fill the air along Olvera Street,in the historic El Pueblo area,where shops offer an array of handmade Mexican goods!!

Santa Monica,Long beach -Queen Mary and Laguna beach are the most wonderful areas for swimming in Los Angeles..

And finally,Los Angeles zoo is a must see when in LA!!

SANTA MONICA

         HAPPY PEOPLE IN A HAPPY CITY

Due to its climate, Santa Monica became a famed resort town .

You can walk along the palm and eucalyptus-lined bluffs and it becomes obvious why tourists flock to Santa Monica!!

Hundreds of movies have been shot or set in part within the city such as Baywatch,Pacific blue and Private Practice.

A variety of restaurants,cafes,ice cream shops,shiny cars and beautiful people can be found on Ocean Avenue.

With the beach on one side and mountains on another,it's the essence of that postcard picture of Southern California's coastline!!

The city also offers plenty of things to do.

You can fill your days with museum-hopping and world class shopping, or relax on the beach and watch the world go by....
At the beach there is an extent of activities one can enjoy. 

Both sand and ocean are clean and beautiful,ideal for swimming or surfing.
After a day out,stick around for the finest Santa Monica attraction of all:
a beachside sunset!!

When one thinks of things to do in Santa Monica,the attraction of the Pier comes to mind.

It's a full-service amusement park,compined with plenty of restaurants,bars and souvenir shops, as  well as an entertaining arcade with more than 200 games!!

For those who are ready to go shopping,great sales and designer threads are always within arm's reach.

Santa Monica is really an ideal destination for families and visitors of any age..

It's the antidote to the big-city stress of nearby Los Angeles!!
