           A WEEKEND IN NUREMBERG

Visiting Nuremberg was a great experience for me!

From the ancient streets of this 950-years old Bavarian city to historic museums, Nuremberg stole my heart at once!!

I wondered around the streets admiring the buildings,the monuments and the unusual statue 

'Ehekarussell' which discribes the sad course of marriage from dating to death!!

I felt a bit horrified but it was so spectacular!!

The lovely church of Lorenzkirche in the heart of the old town was my meeting point...

I was surprised with the beauty of the Hospital of the Holy Spirit!!

This place was not only a piece of architecture but also one of the oldest private medicine practices..

The city has a lot of restaurants and cafes..

I chose cafe Trodelmarkt,a place which overlooks the Henkersteg bridge which is famous for its delicious cakes and the fantastic brunches...

Nuremberg is famous due to the unique little sausages.I found the original Nuremberg Rostbratwurst at the breakfast buffet,at restaurants and at street vendors,too!!

As for the shopaholics....the Hauptmarkt and the streets leading to the castle are littered with souvenir shops..

Kaiserstrasse is more high-end, as it's home to a number of exclusive shops, boutiques and cafes..
