Brugges

 The fairytale town

The world is an amazing place and I try to explore this beauty..

One of my favorite travel destinations is Brugge.

Cobblestone streets that lead to historical and architectural buildings!!

With narrow streets,marvel houses,canals, bridges and lakes with swans, the atmosphere is peaceful and scenic!!

If you visit the town at Christmas time.....you'll feel like living in a fairytale!!

Brugges is home to great food,offering many dreamy restaurants with high quality food.

I truly enjoyed the mussels cooked-in with white wine and vegetables.Fries are also part of Belgian culinary and cultural heritage... as well as Belgian beer.

It's a classic dish , famous throughout the world!!

There are a lot of chocolate and waffle shops,selling the best chocolate I 've ever eaten !!

THE BASILICA OF THE HOLY BLOOD 

is a church in a quite place with impressive architecture,famous because it holds a piece of Jesus Christ's clothing with a blood stain...

THE MARKT

 is a large square with overpriced and touristic restaurants.

As soon as the sun goes down ,the town gets a  different,more romantic appearance!!!

TIPS

-Find late-night bars,hidden away in the back streets.

-Don't miss to try the 5cm thic slabs of chocolate and also a piece of white chocolate.

-Have a horse-drawn carriage trip around the town or a boat trip along the canals.

-Most Brugges museums and attractions,close on Mondays.

-French,German and English are spoken everywhere.

-Get lost at the narrow streets.
